“Insatiability of the gaze” editor Anna Królica – it is an honor to be in such an interesting andunique publication, among other very talented people photographing dance.
A few words from Anna Królica, editor of the book:
“It is a token of appreciation for dance photographers, but also the result of
interaction with them. Through the publication we want to draw attention to the group of photographers who accompany performances not only in their stage realizations. The result is a pioneering book about a very diverse phenomenon ranging from reportage to artistic experimentation.”
The featured photo, in which we see Marysia Stokłosa, is a photo from the “Dance Man” series, which I have been working on since 2010. In 2019 I will return for the third time to portray the characters of this series, which I am looking forward to
