Underwater/water photos are created in cooperation with freedivers/freedivers and swimmers/swimmers. They are both professional athletes, medalists of the World Championships or Polish Championships, instructors, and amateurs – people who love water, being underwater.
When photographing, I use a professional small-image camera, housed in a special case that allows me to go underwater. I don’t use an aqualung, I dive on held breath – just like the people I photograph, which gives us the opportunity to communicate after each ascent.
The photos I have included in this list were taken in open water and in Deepspot – the deepest pool in Europe.
